Women's and Reproductive Health

JSI strives to enhance the health and wellbeing of women throughout their life span. We work to prevent illnesses and diseases that impact women and strive to improve access to and quality of health care. We have expertise in breast and cervical cancer, sexuality, nutrition, reproductive health choices, sexually transmitted infections, prenatal care, and domestic violence. We study barriers to access of care for adolescent girls and women and evaluate various strategies of improving access. We provide training and technical assistance to enable agencies and health professionals to effectively and compassionately address the needs of women they serve, especially those who are poor or underserved.
