Information Technology

JSI assists clients in evaluating, building, implementing and managing information technology to support their work in delivering and managing care. We bring expertise in health care operations and financing, care coordination, and information systems to help clients design and implement the best technology solutions, based on their goals and resources.

JSI also uses the latest on-line technologies to meet clients' needs. From podcasts of trends in HIV/AIDS to e-learning courses that enable participants to learn from their home computers, JSI explores all new technology options to reach target audiences to change behavior, disseminate tools and trainings based on JSI research, and highlight program accomplishments.

In the US, JSI has worked with federal and state agencies, hospitals, physician's groups and community organizations in a variety of areas, including strategy development for use of technology, information system design, project management, software development, operations management and evaluation of packaged applications.

Internationally, JSI helps to strengthen, modernize and restructure existing health information systems so as to generate relevant and quality information for evidence-based decision making. JSI experts also provide technical assistance on the introduction of appropriate information technologies, taking into account local resources available.
