Health and family planning programs can succeed only if the supply chain delivers a reliable, continuous supply of medicines, contraceptives and other essential commodities to clients, so they can choose, obtain, and use essential public health products when and where they are needed. For more than 15 years, JSI has been assisting country governments, donor agencies, non-governmental organizations, and private companies to ensure the availability of their health supplies. We improve health program supply chain efficiency and effectiveness by strengthening systems, training people to manage those systems, helping governments develop policies that support commodity security, and mobilizing financing for essential health commodities.
