Children's and Adolescent Health

JSI works to improve the health status of children by promoting family-friendly and accessible services. We provide technical assistance at the national, state and community levels to establish strong, sustainable systems of maternal and child care. We assist communities and organizations in their efforts to enhance services for children through outreach, access strategies and care coordination. We work at the state and community level to strategically address the financing of these services through options such as the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

Internationally, JSI helps prevent child morbidity and mortality caused by disease and malnutrition. JSI provides worldwide leadership in nutrition, immunization, neonatal care, oral rehydration, and integrated management of childhood illness (IMCI), including acute respiratory illness.
